Question & Thought for July 2nd, 2016!!!

Good Saturday Morning!!!
1. Question – Do you think we will ever get back to basics or will progressives win over a new Constitution ?
2. Thought – Despite its involvement in many conflicts since World War II, the United States has not officially declared war once, since then, including the cases of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Sometimes the president has simply sent men into battle without consulting Congress at all. Other times we have had cowardly and unconstitutional resolutions authorizing the president to use military force if and how he deems necessary. Congress has no power under the Constitution to delegate its war-making power to the president, which is precisely what it is doing when it authorizes him to take whatever action he thinks necessary, including the use of force abroad. (The Politically Incorrect Guide to American History by Thomas E. Woods, Jr., Ph.D.)
“The provisions of the Constitution giving the war-making power to Congress, was dictated, as I understand it, by the following reasons. Kings had always been involving and impoverishing their people in wars, pretending generally, if not always, that the good of the people was the object. This, our Convention understood to be the most oppressive of all Kingly oppressions; and they resolved to so frame the Constitution that no man should hold the power of bringing oppression upon us. But your view destroys the whole matter, and places our President where kings have always stood.” (Abraham Lincoln, 1848)
Please educate truth!

ANDs for July 1st, 2016!

Good Friday Morning and welcome July!

AND: The rights should not be named.  The body of the Constitution limits the power of the federal government.  The articles clearly define the duties and powers of each branch. We the people have allowed our selves to be bought off by empty promises and seeing the small return of our tax money as some sort of gift.  If the powers were limited as intended we would not have the excessive over reach and suffocating regulation currently.  The founders of course would hardly recognize the current system.

AND: Remember the new math?  That wasn’t too good!!!

AND: When you consider the prophetic portions of the bible – Creation will break down and will come to a shocking end.
The Global Warming (renamed to Climate Change) phenomenon is explained by the man who hates G-d or doesn’t know Him, as an event caused by man (eliminating G-d and His judgement in the workings of our world).

AND: The Strength of Brokenness
TGIF Today God Is First
June 18, 2016

“The bows of the warriors are broken, but those who stumbled are armed with strength.” – 1 Samuel 2:4

There is an oxymoron throughout the Bible. It says that brokenness is strength. How can this be? How can brokenness be strength? In order to use men and women to their fullest extent, the Lord has to break His servants so that they might have a new kind of strength that is not human in origin. It is strength in spirit that is born only through brokenness.

Paul was broken on the Damascus road. Peter was broken after Jesus was taken prisoner. Jacob was broken at Peniel. David was broken after his sin with Bathsheba. The list could go on of those the Lord had to break in different ways before they could be used in the Kingdom.

When we are broken, we see the frailty of human strength and come to grips with the reality that we can do nothing in our own strength. Then, new strength emerges that God uses mightily. God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

Do not fear brokenness, for it may be the missing ingredient to a life that emerges with a new kind of strength and experience not known before.

Pray for a broken and contrite heart that God can bless.

AND: The leaders I trust and follow have one thing in common; they love their people.  When you love people you’ll replace the “what am I to do” question with, “what do my people need to succeed?”

AND:

16 Rejoice always,

17 pray without ceasing,

18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

19 Do not quench the Spirit.

20 Do not despise prophecies,

21 but test everything; hold fast what is good.

22 Abstain from every form of evil.

AND:Interesting times Rembo.  I am not a proponent for open borders.  I think Nationalism and border integrity has its place.  But here’s a legitimate question: Our generation has seen the evolution of the world’s borders moving from rigid to porous–are we better today than we were in the early sixties?

There was a time when world travel required a much greater effort in coordination and administration.  People didn’t travel nearly as much on an International perspective.  Visas and passport stamps were scrutinized to a much greater degree. Today, we have hundred-fold the tools (computers) to scrutinize travelers yet we don’t seem achieve desired results of knowing who is entering a country, where they go in the country, and when they leave the country.

I see Britain’s move as a cultural statement.  Certainly there will be economic consequences.  But the people of Britain voted–in essence–to stop the borderless madness.  Others will surely follow.  The United Kingdom itself may be torn apart in this process.  But the madness of free entry into another country and followed by the lack of motivation to assimilate has got to stop.  Nationalism should not be lost due to the squeaky voices of a few.

AND: If there is no God the Atheist have not problem.

If there is a God they have a great problem.

AND: There is not a doubt in my mind that we are currently living under global climate change–and have been our entire life. Zero doubt.
What has not been proven is that Man is responsible for that change.
Please see the portion in Mike Rosen’s book that I sent that illustrates Man’s contribution to the environment. We are simply too small of an entity to make a difference in global weather.

Question & Thought for the last day of June 2016!!!

See Ya June!

  1. Question – Do you wonder if men have chests anymore?
  2. Thought –
C.S. Lewis once said: “In a sort of ghastly simplicity we remove the organ and demand the function. We make men without chests and expect of them virtue and enterprise. We laugh at honor and are shocked to find traitors in our midst. We castrate and bid the geldings to be fruitful.”

Do not let your hearts be troubled! The following men have chests & Lewis smiles!

Question & Thought for June 29th, 2016!!!

Good Wednesday Morning!
1. Question – Are you just sitting back and not planting any seeds?
2. Thought – The troubles of this age stem from born again Christians who are complacently sitting back watching and waiting for Jesus to come. They’ve decided that since the end of the age is near, no real revival is possible. Satan has also convinced them that to fight communism, one-world government and the apostate church is to fight God’s plan for the age. They go wrong three ways:
The end of the age seems near – but it is not certain. For over 2000 years men have looked for the imminent return of Jesus. In Thessalonica men became so certain that Jesus would return before winter that they failed to plant their fields. Paul was forced to warn them, “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
Jesus commanded that we continue to work. Before He went to Heaven, He told His followers:
“Occupy till I come….Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.” (Luke 19:10; Matthew 25:46)
Believers go wrong and forget “to serve the living and true God” because they know their salvation is certain. (The Death of a Nation by John A. Stormer, Copyright 1968)
“History fails to record a single precedent in which nations subject to moral decay have not passed into political and economic decline. There has been either a spiritual awakening to overcome the moral lapse, or a progressive deterioration leading to ultimate national disaster.” (General Douglas MacArthur)
