Good Saturday Morning!
1. Question – I ponder these questions often,
‘Is uneducation intentional?’ Or, ‘Is
miseducation intentional?’ ‘Are we, as a
nation, getting dumber?’ ‘Is empathy towards
the student as important as knowledge?’ ‘When
I was growing up, how many of my teachers were
relational?’ ‘Is school hard enough?’
‘Has anything changed from 2000 years ago?’
2. Thought – At most public schools around the
nation, students spend an inordinate amount of time on sex
education, safety rules, drug and alcohol education, and
brainwashing about the environment. Classroom hours are
devoted to “cooperative learning.” Teachers
pride themselves on teaching “the child, not the
subject.” Great stress is laid upon encouraging the
child’s creativity and building self-esteem.

“When a scoffer is punished, the simple become
wise; when a wise man is instructed, he gains
knowledge.”
